A Unique 6-Acre Property with Artesian Water and 2 ponds on Oak Creek, developed as a Spiritual Retreat Center in 1994. The Retreat Center is focused around the teachings of the Elders of the Hichol Indian Tribe from Southern Mexico. The Center also hosts various other Holistic Programs and Workshops. The original structures were built in the 1960’s and were in need of renovation due to years of use. The Main House Renovation started with design in 2014 and concluded with finished construction in 2017. The extensive remodel included Living/ Dining/ Kitchen in a large open space oriented east towards Oak Creek. Also included are a Master Suite and Guest Bedroom, Office, Utility/ Storage, Bath Facilities, Outdoor Patio and Renovated Swimming Pool. The approximate size of the Renovation was 2,000 s.f. The existing site infrastructure, including Electric, Water and Wastewater were all upgraded during this time.
Today Phase 2 Design and Planning is continuing for Upgrades and Addition of New Buildings to the Retreat Center. These include a new Meditation/ Activity Building, Therapy Rooms, an Office, a Caretaker’s Residence and Guestrooms. All new work is Green, Sustainable, has Passive Solar Qualities and meet ADA Requirements.
